Welcome to Willow Tree Cottage B and B

Willow Tree Cottage is situated in the North York Moors National Park in the village of Boltby. It overlooks the village, with magnificent views over Boltby and beyond.

We are less than one mile from the Cleveland way which makes an ideal first stop for walkers who are hiking the 100 mile Cleveland way.

Boltby is a picturesque village in the hills of the National Park. The market town of Thirsk is approximately four miles away.

Thirsk's claim to fame is its Herriot connection. The veterinary author had his surgery there. Now it is the Herriot Centre where you can step back in time and see veterinary life in the early part of the 20th century.

Sutton Bank, the White Horse of Kilburn and all the magnificent walks of the North York Moors National Park are close at hand. Nearby are Helmsley and Malton, the abbeys of Rievaulx, Byland and Fountains. There are also many fine country houses such as Castle Howard, Newby Hall and Newburgh Priory.

The famous Mouseman furniture is made nearby in Kilburn. York is approximately 20 miles away and the Dales within easy reach.

The East coast towns of Scarborough and Whitby are a comfortable day trip away.

The bed & breakfast room is a luxurious room with an en suite bathroom with his & hers basins, bath, bidet, toilet and bath shower.

There is a double bed and an extra bed can be added on request to make the room a family room, or a room suitable for 3 adults.
